Banka Suppressor

Description

Banka — the can that tames the AK without extra modifications

The Banka is a 7″, multi-caliber suppressor engineered for Kalashnikov-pattern and semi-auto gas firearms. Machined from 6AL-4V titanium (OAL 7", Ø 1.85"), with a .375" progressive bore, dual-chamber front-exhaust design, and native 1.375-24 HUB threads (X37 compatible natively). Delivers up to -10 dB at the shooter’s ear better than the most common AK can (18" ear distance, outdoor desert test). Ships Jan 2026.

Co-Designed and Manufactured by Richmond Tactical

He found it in the ruins outside the city — a cylinder with ridges, someone called it BANKA. He’d fought with AKs his whole life; loud, proud, unforgiving. This one changed everything. It didn’t steal the rifle’s voice — it kept the bite and the soul — but it softened the moment you put your ear to the world. Modern problems deserve modern solutions. The Banka was born to keep the AK alive on the battlefield while giving its operator a quieter, cleaner, more controllable tool.

The Banka is a purpose-built, multi-caliber suppressor for Kalashnikov pattern firearms and other semi-auto gas-operated platforms. Made from 6AL-4V titanium (Ti) in a compact 7.10" overall length and 1.85" diameter, Banka uses a .375" bore to support 7.62x39, 5.45x39, 7.62x51, 7.62x54 and 9mm, plus other rifle and PCC calibers where applicable. The standout feature is the dual-chamber front-exhaust design — exhaust ports at the front reduce chamber pop and drastically lower back pressure at the action, which means most hosts will not require gas system changes.

Performance: under controlled outdoor testing (shooter's ear positioned ~18" from the chamber, open desert conditions), Banka measured ~10 dB quieter at the shooter’s ear compared to the most popular AK suppressor, while maintaining comparable muzzle signature. That translates to a more pleasant and tactical experience for the operator without losing terminal performance. Not only is it quieter but when ran in full auto with and without the suppressor there was no noticeable rate of fire change, while the most popular can drastically increased the rate of fire. This simple experiment shows that the BANKA has little to no impact of the operation of the host firearm due to very low back pressure.

Mounting & compatibility: Banka ships with native 1.375-24 HUB threads so it works with all JMac HUB-compatible mounts (adapters available for other interfaces). The X37 brake/mount is natively compatible with no adapter required. When paired with JMac’s 360HD or 360HDM brake mounts, there are no barrel-length restrictions. It is of course compatible with most HUB adapters / devices.

Construction & variants: Ti (6AL-4V) production units ship in Combloc Carbon (black Cerakote) or Smoked Brass (heat-treated bronze look). The Ti version is limited full-auto; a stainless (17-4) variant — planned for release later — will be full-auto rated.

Box contents & release: Ships January 2026 and includes the suppressor, a mount (360HDM/X37 — thread pitch chosen by customer), Combloc & JMac stickers and patches. Cleaning: fully welded construction; ultrasonic cleaning recommended.
