Best product I bought in 10 years. It is ergonomic and super light weight. Put it on my KR-9 and it is a perfect match. It looks like it belongs on the gun and more importantly, you can add a cheek riser to adjust for your optic. It’s actually better than the metal triangle stock that came with the gun. I know I sound like a fan boy, but I’ve been around firearms for 30 years and nobody is killing it like JMAC.

The TS-8 completely transformed my M70 (Zastava), it’s a whole new platform with this simple upgrade!! Who doesn’t look that classic triangle stock look on an AK47?!? I love my tiger striped maple wood original furniture but feel like the blending of metal stock and wood front end is such a nice look. The TS-8 is super lightweight and has really lighted up my rig. M70’s are solid tanks of rifles as is, so any weight loss is significantly felt. Looks aside, the practicality of the folding stock is undeniably the main upgrade here. Folding up the stock for easier stowage and mobility made my full length 16” barrel rifle that much easier to pack up move with especially when suppressed. I’m running the TS-8 with an RS Regulate side rail mount and the stock folds right down on it and stays there even with some good shaking. Did that shake test right away because I was a little concerned I’d have issues with it not locking down, but nope, stays folded until I give it the *flip*. I can’t advocate any more for anyone thinking about getting one of the JMac folding stocks to just so it. It’s an upgrade that’s worth every penny. The quality is second to none, the machining and finishing are top notch and can easily be seen and felt. It’s like getting a whole new rifle and who doesn’t love that?!? All you gotta do after that is get out to the range with it and flip it and let it run!

Overall I give this stock a 4.5/5 and here's why: First let me comment on the build quality of this product. It is next to none. The fit finish and quality of the stock and its parts are above all else in this category. I am extremely happy with my purchase. Things to know. You cannot lock this stock into place since it is a bit shorter than the OEM tube stock. That shouldn't be a surprise since the stocks specs are readily available. I like the shorter length as it feels just right for me and also is better when kitted up or wearing a lot of layers. Getting a good grip while folded all the way to the side can be awkward. It can be done but I find that having the stock in this half-way fold lends the best grip. That being said, I do not care as shooting while the stock is folded isn't really practical no matter how you slice it. SF AKs are for storage or when on your person. There is no play or wobble at all with this stock folded. As I said top tier quality. Finally the price. I believe you get what you pay for and as with all things AK this thing is pricey. Soon as you hold it and see the tooling that went into this you'll understand. However, it is pricey. Everything is exactly what you'd expect from this price point. High quality. Right down to the small details like the bolts supplied. Installation was a breeze. Took me less than 5 minutes to remove the punch and install the adapter and then install the stock. Couldn't be more straight forward. That being said perhaps put in a very simple installation guide and include the two needed Allen wrenches needed for the few who need it. I'm splitting hairs at this point and overall I give this stock a 4.5/5. Only half a point subtracted because the only things I could find wrong "were" more subjective than actual flaws. Will absolutely come back again and I recommend this stock to others.

Stock is short, even with folding mech and pic adapter on my zastava m70. Stock digs in your shoulder a bit and is not as comfortable as a rubber padded stock like the magpul zhukov. As long as you're not a big baby and like to hold your rifles close and tight, it is well made and looks badass on any ak.

The innovation of the cheak rise is nice , it gave it just the little extra needed and not to much for a low bore dot sight! And once again it just looks cool and that’s most important. Lol
